"Looking Forward"

Today I feel was a huge sign that our government is actually "looking forward". By allowing Joe Lieberman to keep his chairmanship despite the temptation to punish him for backing McCain is a huge leap for Washington. Typically his party would have eaten him alive for his actions during the election but they are willing to look beyond this election and party politics to appoint the best leaders based on experience and expertise. I hope this trend can continue and our representatives and law makers will work for the best interest of the country vs the best interest of themselves and their party.
